Threads, Meta’s standalone messaging app for close friends, has added a new translation feature that allows users to translate posts into different languages. The feature is powered by the same AI-powered translation technology that Instagram uses.

To translate a post, simply tap on the three dots in the top right corner of the post and select “Translate.” A translation will then be generated in the language of your choice.

The translation feature is available in the latest version of Threads for iOS and Android. To update your app, open the App Store or Google Play and search for “Threads.”

The addition of translations is a welcome addition to Threads, as it will make it easier for users to communicate with friends who speak different languages. It’s also a good way to learn about new cultures and languages.

Here are some other new features that were added in the latest update to Threads:

  • A “Follows” tab on the activity feed, which allows users to see a list of people who have recently followed them.
  • The ability to subscribe to unfollowed users, so that you can see their posts even if you’re not following them.
  • The ability to open a list of Instagram followers for a given user.

These new features are a good way to improve the social experience on Threads. They make it easier to connect with friends and learn about new people.
