New features for YouTube Shorts

YouTube has recently announced a number of new features for Shorts, its short-form video platform. These include:

  • Duets and stitch videos: This allows creators to respond to or remix other Shorts videos. To create a duet, you simply tap the “Duet” button when you’re watching a Shorts video. This will create a new Shorts video that will be overlaid on top of the original video. To create a stitch, you tap the “Stitch” button when you’re watching a Shorts video. This will create a new Shorts video that will start with the original video and then add your own content to it.
  • New way to discover Shorts content: YouTube is also introducing a new way to discover Shorts content. This is called the “Shorts Feed.” The Shorts Feed is a vertical feed of Shorts videos that is personalized to your interests. You can access the Shorts Feed by tapping on the Shorts icon at the bottom of the YouTube app.

In addition to these new features, YouTube is also making some improvements to the Shorts experience. These include:

  • New editing tools: YouTube is adding new editing tools to Shorts, including the ability to trim videos, add text, and adjust the speed of videos.
