There are a few ways to save your Snaps.
- Save in Chat: While viewing a Snap in Chat, you can press and hold on it, or swipe up to save it. Saved Snaps will appear in the chat as Chat Media.
- Save to Memories: You can also save Snaps to Memories, which is a private section of Snapchat where you can store all of your Snaps. To save a Snap to Memories, open the Snap and tap the Save button in the bottom right corner.
- Export to Camera Roll: If you want to save a Snap to your device’s Camera Roll, you can export it. To export a Snap, open the Snap and tap the three dots in the top right corner. Then, select Export to Camera Roll.
Note that some Snaps, such as those that are sent to you by friends who have their Snaps set to disappear after viewing, cannot be saved.
Here are some additional details about each of these methods:
- Save in Chat: Snaps that are saved in Chat will only be visible to you and the person you sent them to. They will not appear in your Memories or on your device’s Camera Roll.
- Save to Memories: Snaps that are saved to Memories will be stored in a private section of Snapchat. You can access Memories by tapping the Memories icon in the bottom left corner of the Snapchat app.
- Export to Camera Roll: When you export a Snap to your device’s Camera Roll, it will be saved as a regular photo or video file. You can then view, edit, and share the Snap as you would any other photo or video file.
