Ability to subscribe to unfollowed users

The ability to subscribe to unfollowed users is a new feature in the Threads app that allows users to keep tabs on people they are no longer following. This can be useful for a variety of reasons, such as:

  • Keeping up with friends or family members who you may have unfollowed because you were getting too many notifications from them.
  • Following celebrities or influencers who you don’t want to follow on your main Instagram account.
  • Staying up-to-date on the latest news and trends from your favorite brands or businesses.

To subscribe to an unfollowed user, simply open their profile and tap the “Subscribe” button. You will then be able to see their posts in your activity feed, but you will not receive any notifications from them.

This feature is currently only available in the iOS version of Threads, but it is expected to be rolled out to the Android version soon.

Here are some additional things to keep in mind about the ability to subscribe to unfollowed users:

  • You can only subscribe to up to 100 unfollowed users.
  • If the user you subscribe to blocks you, you will no longer be able to see their posts.
  • If the user you subscribe to deletes their account, you will no longer be able to see their posts.

Overall, the ability to subscribe to unfollowed users is a useful new feature in the Threads app that can help you stay connected with people you care about without having to clutter up your main Instagram feed.
